Competition
As part of the Mirfield Piano Walk, we’re launching a vibrant competition for participating amateur pianists and Conservatory or university-level music graduates. Once they confirm their participation, we will record video performances of each pianist. These recordings will be submitted to renowned Dutch pianist Wibi Soerjadi, who will select one winner from each category.
The selected winners will be invited to attend a fully funded three-day summer course and masterclass with Wibi Soerjadi, held from 4–6 August 2026 at his private estate, Villa Peckedam, in Diepenheim, Netherlands.
The summer course will be 3 days of unforgettable piano mania at Wibi Soerjadi’s estate. The masterclasses consist of intensive lessons designed to get the very best out of everyone in the group.
Mr Soerjadi’s innovative and highly effective Floating Hand Technique will be taught and there will be a concert day for the participants.
